BACKGROUND

Dr Lauren Bourke graduated with her medical degree from Monash University. She completed her anaesthetic training through the Monash Anaesthetic Training Scheme, including a fellowship focusing on Obstetrics and Ear, Nose and Throat surgery. She then further specialised in Paediatric Anaesthesia at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa, Canada. Upon returning to Australia she started working at Monash Medical Centre as a Specialist Anaesthetist, where she continues to work.
