BACKGROUND

Norma has been a member of Canterbury Anaesthetic group since 2001. She is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) and a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists. Norma practised as a consultant anaesthetist in Melbourne public and private hospitals since 1999. She has continued solely in private practice from 2008. Norma has previously trained at Geelong hospital, and in the United Kingdom as an anaesthetic registrar and Clinical Assistant in Oxford, Bristol and Truro-Cornwall. She initially qualified and trained in the Sudan and worked as a lecturer and clinical consultant at the University Teaching Hospital.
