BACKGROUND

Dr Hamish Woonton is a Monash University graduate who completed anaesthetic training through the Monash Anaesthesia Training Scheme. During this time he undertook further studies to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education, before completing a fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. With interests and experience in a wide range of anaesthetic care for adult, paediatric and obstetric patients, he holds a Specialist Anaesthetist appointment at Monash Medical Centre. He is actively involved in clinical education as a Simulation Instructor and Researcher with a focus on emergency airway management.
